We at RE ZRO® are proud to support Stephanie Rowe on her historic journey by providing her with high-performance armour, ensuring she is equipped to face the challenges of the 2025 Africa Eco Race.

Stephanie Rowe is making history in the 2025 Africa Eco Race, striving to become the first woman to complete the gruelling Malle Moto category. Competing in this category means taking on the challenge solo, without external technical support, managing everything from bike maintenance to navigation in some of the world’s toughest terrains.

Starting from Monaco on December 28, 2024, the race spans over 5,900 kilometres, with competitors navigating through Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal, culminating at the legendary Lac Rose in Dakar on January 12, 2025. Stephanie, aboard her KTM 450 EXCF, has shown incredible resilience and determination as she tackles each stage.

Highlights So Far

As of January 8, Stephanie has successfully completed seven stages. In Stage 4, she navigated a 499-kilometre stretch from Touizgui to Laayoune in Morocco, securing 52nd place with a time of 8 hours, 28 minutes, and 18 seconds. The race has since moved into Mauritania, with its endless dunes and intense navigation challenges pushing competitors to their limits.

Stage 9, scheduled for January 9, was cancelled due to severe wind and sandstorm conditions. Safety always comes first in a rally of this magnitude, and organisers took precautions to protect riders. Despite the setback, Stephanie remains focused and determined to complete the journey.

What’s Next?

With just a few days left, the race is currently progressing through Mauritania, with competitors battling dunes and scorching heat before heading into Senegal for the final stretch. Stephanie’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and her determination to complete the race in the Malle Moto category is a testament to her strength and perseverance.

Follow along as Stephanie continues her journey to Dakar. Her story is not just about racing but about pushing boundaries and showing what’s possible with grit, resilience, and the right support.

Let’s cheer her on as she makes history!
